46 Piece Set Of Pewter Flatware, Possibly Sold By World Market, DANIELI Pattern

Description

This is a 46 piece set of flatware consisting of Dinner Knife, Dinner Fork, Salad Fork, Table Spoon and Teaspoon.  The upper part of the flatware is made of stainless steel while the handle is made of what appears to be Pewter.
From the research I did, I was able to identify these as the DANIELI pattern sold by World Market.  If you look this up on the Internet you will see it is the same as this pattern.
Further research I did showed that the Pewter handle was at one time plated with silver, but in more recent times it is plated with Pewter, which in its natural unmixed state is silver looking and can be polished.  These may also be plated in Tin as it can also be polished and has the same appearance.
The pieces in this set are heavy, with these 46 pieces weighing slightly over 11 pounds.
As noted above, this set consists of 46 pieces with 8 total 5 piece place settings and a few extra pieces.  See picture #1.
There are 10 Dinner Forks.  The Dinner Forks measure 8 3/8 Inches in length with the Pewter handle measuring 3 3/4 inches in length.  As with any flatware that has been plated, there is some flaking of the coating on different parts of the pieces.  Both the front and the back of the Dinner Forks are still in good condition.  See pictures #2 and #3.
All these pieces have the handle design associated with the DANIELI pattern.  See picture #4.
There are 8 Salad Forks.  The Salad Forks measure about 7 3/8 inches in length with the Pewter handle measuring 3 1/4 inches in length.  As noted above, as these Salad Forks have been plated, there is some flaking of the plating on different parts of the flatware.  Both the front and back of the Salad Forks are in good condition.  See pictures #5 and #6.
There are 9 Table Spoons.  These Table Spoons measure about 7 3/4 inches in length with the Pewter handle measuring about 3 3/4 inches in length.  As with the other pieces noted above, there is also some flaking of the plating on different parts of these pieces.  Both the front and back of the Table Spoons are in good condition.  See pictures #7 and #8.
This set also includes 9 Teaspoons.  These Teaspoons measure about 6 3/4 inches in length with the Pewter handle measuring 3 1/4 inches in length.  As with the other pieces listed above, some of the plating is flaking off different parts of the Teaspoons, some revealing the gold or copper color underneath.  Both the front and back of the Teaspoons are in good condition.  See pictures #9 and #10.
There are 10 Dinner Knives with this set.  These Dinner Knives measure about 9 1/8 inches in length with the Pewter handle measuring about 3 3/4 inches in length.  As with the other pieces noted above, the plating on the handles in also flaking off from different parts of the handle.  Both sides of the Dinner Knives are in good condition.  See pictures #11 and #12.
