Vehicle Details
Completely stock, unmodified 2007 Audi RS4. I am the 2nd owner of this stunning German classic. As Jeremy Clarkson from Top Gear put it, you’ll be sitting 4 feet from one of the greatest engines ever made. The engine maintenance has been religiously maintained, changing the oil with Mobil 1 0W-40 synthetic every 3,000 miles with a new filter. The engine has the same sound it punch as it did when it first drove off the lot - I truly mean it when I say it’s mechanically perfect. Engine was inspected internally with a scope at 110,000 miles and it was determined that a carbon cleaning was not required. This is largely due to driving style and I regularly and responsibly rev’d the engine to prevent deposit build up, as this engine begs of its owner.
The front end has been refreshed with brand new control arms and bushings along with new tie rod ends, restoring the originally intended feeling of being connected to the road.
The vehicle has been fitted with 4 brand new all-season tires, with less than 500 miles of usage at the time of this writing.
The body has no major dents or dings or even major scratches. The front grille contains the OEM black fascia from the Black Optics package. The front painted surfaces of the vehicle have been covered by a clear-bra protecting the paint from road chips and debris. This covering is about 8 years old and ready to be removed, revealing the very nice paint underneath.
The paint on the rest of the body is an 8/10, easily brought to a 9 with a good machine polish. The finish still stands out even today and turns heads when clean. Not bad for 14 year old paint. One problem to disclose is a common issue on the B7 platform - the lower outside door trim bulges out a small bit as it warps over time. Not structural and trim only. Can be replaced with parts 8E0853959 and 8E0853960.
Brakes have at least 70% of pads left. Rotors were replaced at 115,000 miles.
The interior is an 8.5 out of 10. Again it’s 14 years old so there are signs of age. As the pictures show, it’s in great shape. Car has never even come close to a cigarette and only smells like genuine Audi leather. The rear sun shade needs a part replaced.
I’m selling the car, regretfully, as I’m moving overseas with my wife and I will miss it so. But I hope you’ll be able to enjoy this absolutely beast and piece of Audi history, as much I have.
